Description

My name is Camilla and I’m both a danish and an Italian citizen. Growing up, I’ve travelled around with my family and I have learnt from them the fascination towards new cultures and the desire of getting to know such aspects society. I’m though a nature lover and a very curious person, there’s nothing as rewarding for me as exploring and coming in contact with nature.
I have wanted to do some volunteering in Brazil for some years now, and now I finally have the time to leave my city and depart for this adventure. What is going to bring me happiness? Well, I guess just being around people, but some exploration of the rain forest and practicing surfing once again are some of the other things I’m not going to leave out.
I have a bachelor in Mathematics and I hope that my love for the subject and for traveling will one day be able to coexist.

I love learning languages, as I see it as a way of getting deep into a culture and as it gives even more means to connect with people. I have never taught a language, but I'm very curious of doing so with Italian and English which are the two I am totally comfortable with.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As said, my academical expertises lie in Mathematics, but I’d consider myself a flexible person and willing to learn anything that I could find interesting. One can’t do all, but could try when having the chance, so bring it on!
I’m currently working as a waitress, so I have ability of dealing with clients of all sorts and I have some insights in hospitality. I’ve always helped my father at home, fixing house things and assembling pieces of different sorts, do I’m quite independent also in this area.
I enjoy making food for friends and family and I’m fond of cameras and taking pictures, as well as making videos or posters of multiple kinds. I have recently given space to my passion for drawing, which has improved technically and thematically.

My interest lie within multiple sectors, mostly in the adventurous one as I love being in contact with nature (let it be any kind of landscape!) and different cultural contexts. Academically, I'm a mathematician and this also reflects my view on many aspects of life, as in going in details and never having enough before knowing much about something.
