My name is Brayden Rose, and I am 22 years old, having just graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree in Applied Economics and Sports Business. However, I find myself wanting to follow a different path, one that involves traveling the world rather than pursuing a traditional college career. Motivating me, before joining the Peace Corps in 2027, to want to explore all over the world gaining experiences and enlightening myself with knowledge of different cultures. These new experiences, whether traveling to new places or meeting new people, brings me excitement and happiness. My friends explain me as an adventurous person, as in my free time I am always traveling around whether that's backpacking the Sawtooth Mountains or exploring the various wonders of the beautiful place of Oregon that I get to call home. My upbringing in Hood River Oregon has really helped me foster a love for the outdoors that resonates in my life with my motives and aspirations.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

While pursuing and obtaining my college degree, I have learned applicable skills such as technical literacy, teamwork, and communication. I have also acquired many useful hands-on skills from my experience working for a construction company, during which time we built houses from the ground up and poured concrete. Additionally, I have some experience in gardening, as I helped build and cultivate gardens at my university. My main work experience, however, is in the restaurant industry. I have seven years of experience ranging from cooking to managing a business. Overall, I am not afraid of manual labor and getting my hands dirty and look forward to learning new skills and gaining new experiences.

Outside of college, I’m someone who thrives on having many hobbies, such as enjoying cooking from scratch (especially experimenting with local ingredients) and presenting it to my friends and family. Most of the time, you will find me in the gym as I own a side business as a personal trainer, helping people achieve their fitness goals.
