Apart from photography, computer and language skills, I’m good at painting, renovating, refurbishing, cleaning, I'm good with tools, I like gardening and most of all dog walking. I learned a bit about pruning, cementing, I've taken care of chicken, rabbits, pigs and sheep.

Barbara is 100% reliable and trustworthy and takes each task and completes it beyond expectation. All done with love and care. She is completely responsible and needs no supervision. Takes her own initiative if necessary but will always check things out with the host. She has been a delight and a joy to have around and is sorely missed. Thank you

Barbara is an amazing person.
Very talented in many, many things .
Also knowledgable, fun to be with, patient and a perfectionist in what she does.
I have been very lucky to have been one of her hosts and hope one day she will return.

First of all, sorry for the late feedback... I stayed with Sandy and Mike for too short a time in October 2015 and returned in January for six weeks - I think that already says a lot about these great workaway hosts. Barbara has stayed with us twice now and this last time for 6 weeks!
Well..... we asked for someone who could paint.....and that's exactly what we got...with knobs on!!
Barbara painted nearly the whole of our large house!...She works very methodically, lots of preparation and attention to detail... no cover up painting here!.....It was a worry … read more
