Heinz-Günter and I, Regina, are a couple who love the outdoors: Cycling, hiking, gardening, watching things grow. We love to be around living things - plants and animals alike.
We both love to spend time with our family especially the young ones.
Heinz worked in insurance but has retired. He loves sports, especially handball. He also likes skiing and football, in addition we go dancing once a week. I love reading and photography.

I grew up on a farm and spent two years in England and Ireland during my studies, working in a beautiful castle park at one time. I'm a trained landscape architect and used to work for a municipality recultivating regulated rivers and brooks and putting them back into their natural state. Nature conservation was also part of my job.

About 13 years ago I took a year off and traveled through South America, staying here and there, wherever I found a job. I've seen incredible landscapes but getting to know the locals was always the most giving experience.

Last but not least, we love to travel. To be able to see beautiful places, meet fascinating people, contribut to whatever drives them and experience how they live and think makes us very grateful. We've met many lovely people willing to let us into their homes and made us feel at home. And every time we came back the richer for all the new insights!

During the last two years we've been travelling through Northern Europe, mostly Sweden. We've been house- and pet-sitting as well as workawaying and had an amazing time exploring these vast landscapes, visiting beautiful places and meeting new, wonderful people. We enjoyed it so much, that we decided to move to Sweden permanently. We've been refurbishing and decorating a lot recently and spend most our time on garden projects, using local material.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We're both quite handy with all sorts of manual work and DIY, be it gardening, wallpapering, painting, general maintanance or small scale building and carpentary work. I, Regina, am very keen on art topics while Heinz knows more about sports and used to lead a teenage handball team for a while. We both have experience in looking after pets.
I have quite some knowledge about plants and their healing properties.
