Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I am a scientist by training, with a degree in Biochemistry and a PhD in Zoology from Oxford University, but these skills are probably not very applicable to Workaway placements!
I'm a fluent English speaker, and have some experience teaching English - I have taught in an orphanage in Kenya during a trip there, and when I was a university student I volunteered for an organisation who provided lessons for immigrants. I taught a young Bangaldeshi girl and sometimes her brother for a few years, which was a very rewarding experience.
I currently volunteer for a conservation organisation, planting trees, collecting seeds from wild plants, and helping out in their plant nursery. I'm happy to help out with gardening, though I wouldn't say I'm a very experienced gardener so would need to be told what to do!
I absolutely love animals, particularly dogs, and have done a lot of volunteering at animal rescue shelters, in the UK and abroad (Romania, Greece, Montserrat). I would be happy to walk dogs and help with animal care.
