Description
Hello! We are Marie (33) and Benjamin (31), a French couple traveling for one year from France to Japan — all without taking a plane. We left Lyon on June 5th, 2025, and are currently exploring Nepal.
We love discovering places off the beaten track, immersing ourselves in local cultures, and learning about traditions and ways of life wherever we go. Nature plays a big role in our journey — we are passionate about mountains, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
We are motivated, adaptable, and happy to help with any kind of work. What matters most to us is meeting new people, sharing experiences, and building meaningful connections along the way.
We look forward to exchanging stories, learning new skills, and contributing wherever we can!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Marie is an engineer with a background in IT, and Benjamin studied business and worked as a consultant for large companies. Together, we are comfortable with computers, technology, business plan, marketing and social media management.
We both speak French and English fluently, and Benjamin also speaks Spanish at an advanced level.
We are reliable, adaptable, and curious learners. Whether it’s practical tasks, teamwork, or creative projects, we bring motivation, a positive mindset, and the willingness to try new things. We also love cooking, sharing meals, and exchanging stories with people from different cultures.
One of our future dreams is to run a mountain refuge in France, so we are very interested in helping in hostels, guesthouses, or hotels to gain experience in hospitality and customer service. We both enjoy working with people, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and learning from those around us.

We are also passionate about sports and the outdoors: cycling, trail running, climbing, mountaineering, and hiking are an important part of our lives. Physical work doesn’t scare us — we love staying active and spending time in nature.
In our free time, Benjamin loves reading and exploring the history of the countries we travel through, while Marie is learning watercolor sketching to create a personal travel diary.
