Hello everyone!
My name is Benedetta and I come from Italy :) My experience with workaway started in April 2024 when I flew to Anascaul, Ireland, to join the vibrant team of an amazing place that was my home for eight months. During this period I was able to learn the basics of hospitality, from cooking meals in the kitchen to housekeeping and taking care of the guests. As a curious and adaptable person who loves to travel, I'm eager to gain further knowledge in the field of hospitality around the world and to continue my workaway experience!
I'd describe myself as a calm and openminded person who is both happy alone and in company of inspiring people. I am very curious about everything that surrounds me and I am eager to know friendly, kind and open-minded people to share time with.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in International Relations so anything linked to global politics is of interest to me. I also love any form of art (music, cinema, theatre, painting, photography, sculpture...), so it goes without saying that I love talking about all that stuff!
Skills, in a nutshell: Kitchen work, Housekeeping, accommodation, general maintenance.
Hobbies, in a nutshell: Reading, travelling, cinema, theatre, cooking, working with clay, DIY, hiking, cave exploring; swimming, going to art exhibitions.

- good flexibility in both time management and work environment;
- previous volunteer experience (I helped build a mountain refuge in Valle d'Aosta, Italy) and work experiences abroad (Erasmus traineeship in Slovakia, 2021; working in Ireland, 2024);
- passion for nature, animal care and environment protection
