Hi! I'm Viola, a 20-year-old student of Foreign Languages and Literatures (French and German) based in Milan. I grew up in the heart of the Italian Dolomites, in a small town called San Vito di Cadore. Nature and animals have always been a big part of my life. During high school, I spent most weekends at a horse riding school, a time I still cherish and miss dearly.

I've been playing the piano since I was 7, and it remains one of my greatest passions. In addition to music, I enjoy photography and currently work as a photographer for "Una Montagna di Libri" (A Mountain of Books), a literature festival in Cortina d'Ampezzo. My love for languages, literature, and discovering new cultures drives me, and I recently spent a semester in Münster, Germany, through the Erasmus program—an experience that was definitely one of the highlights of my life so far.

I'm excited to meet new people, explore different ways of living, and continue learning—especially when it comes to improving my language skills!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a range of skills that I believe will be useful in many situations. I am skilled in photography and have worked as a photographer for a literature festival. I also hold a driver’s license and am comfortable with driving when necessary. Additionally, I have experience working as a waitress in a restaurant, which has helped me develop strong communication and customer service skills. I am adaptable and thrive in new environments—having moved to Milan on my own, I quickly learned to navigate life in a big city. From a young age, I also spent two consecutive summers in Oxford and Cambridge to improve my English, so I’ve been familiar with living abroad from an early age. These experiences have given me confidence in adapting to different places and cultures with ease.

I have two big dreams that reflect my passions. One is to become a professional pianist and perform in concerts—every time I go to the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, I imagine myself on that stage. My other dream is to open a farm where I can care for all the animals I love, like horses, cows, goats, dogs, and cats. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting and going on hikes in the mountains. I also have a broad taste in music, from classical to pop and jazz, and I love attending opera performances at the theater whenever I can.
