☀️ Hola, I’m Belinda!
Since April, I’ve been taking a year to travel a little slower, experience new cultures, improve my language skills and learn things I probably wouldn’t come across in everyday life.

Travel has been a big part of my life for a long time, spending time across Asia, South and Central America, parts of Africa and Europe, and I especially enjoy getting closer to local life rather than just ticking off sights. I’m also very passionate about the ocean and diving. 🐠🤿

I’m easy-going, curious, social and open-minded, usually with a smile on my face and always up for trying something new. 😃⛰️🌊 I also like being useful and hands-on -- I’m happy to roll up my sleeves, get dirty and learn by doing.

I have around seven years of experience in gastronomy and hospitality, plus years of experience in marketing, project management and digital design.

I love good food, cooking together, anything outdoors, and learning about a culture through the people I meet. 🍲

Languages are a big part of why I love traveling. I’d really like to improve my Spanish through everyday conversations, shared meals and just spending time with local people, rather than only studying it formally. At the same time, I’m very happy to help with German or English if someone wants to practice. ☺️

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have around seven years of experience in gastronomy and hospitality, including working with guests, bartending, service, teamwork and creating a welcoming atmosphere. I’m comfortable in busy environments, good with people and happy to jump in wherever help is needed.

Over the past few years, I’ve also worked in marketing, project management and digital design.

I’m also a Divemaster (& Rescue Diver), so I’m very comfortable around the ocean, with guests and in situations where responsibility, teamwork and staying calm are important.

I’m practical, reliable and quick to learn. I don’t mind physical- and love outdoor work, getting my hands dirty or helping with everyday tasks, and I’m always interested in learning new skills from people who have more experience than me.

🌍 Outside of work and travel, I really enjoy good food, coffee, being outdoors, the ocean, diving, long walks/hikes, skiing, spontaneous little adventures and discovering new places. I’m also very happy with a relaxed evening, a shared dinner, a glass of wine, a good conversation or a game of cards.

I’m very curious by nature and usually interested in how things are made, how people live and the little traditions that make a place special.

I looove trying new foods and local specialties, and I’m always up for learning something new - whether that’s a practical skill, a recipe, a new expression or something completely unexpected. 🍲 😄

I’m easy to live with, respectful of other people’s space and routines, and I’m equally happy being social or having some quiet time on my own.
