Hi everyone :) My name is Bianca. I`m 30 years old and I teach highschool students English and Spanish here in Germany. As probably everyone on this platform I love to explore new places, learn about people`s lives, cultures, languages, ...
Starting in February 2026, I plan to travel for 2 years, challenging myself, getting out of my comfort zone and learning everything I can from new people and places :).
Sign me up for anything adventurous! I love being outdoors, hiking, sleeping under the stars. Although I am new to Workaway, I have travel and volunteer experience.
I am up for any odd job so please give me a chance to experience life with you ;).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

General work experience:
-As a trained teacher I work well with a diverse team and on my own
-I have taught students of primary age, middle school age, highschool age and adult students
- I teach English, Spanish and German as a foreign language to German and international students
- I studied English, Spanish and Educational Science at University

Experience with wildlife:
-I have worked as a volunteer in wildlife conservation with EHRA in Namibia and ARCAS in Guatemala.
-I have taken care of rescued howler monkeys, macaws, small parrots, toucans, capybaras, a hawk and a stork

Experience with pets:
-I I have experience taking care of horses, dogs, chickens and guinea pigs

Experience with building/handcrafts:
-With EHRA in Namibia I helped build walls for which we had to collect stones and sand from the desert and mix cement by hand
-With ARCAS in Guatemala I helped build enrichment for the animals out of natural materials and had to work high up on cages

Experience sailing:
-I earned a sailing certificate as a child and was part of a class trip on a sailing ship on the IJsselmeer. One of my goals is to properly learn to sail.

Languages:
- I speak German, English and Spanish, and have basic knowledge of French, Italian, Swedish and Dutch. At the moment I am also learning Russian, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese.
