Description

We are french friends, Batistes is currently travelling to discover new ways of life and skills with Workaway, while Tea is working in Brisbane.

Batiste : I am an engineering student. 1 year before the end of my studdies, I've decided to take a break to travel and learn about people and the world before finishing and be specialized in a domain. I would like to tackle with ecological redirection, resilience of territories and sustainable ways of life. I love outdoor activites such as hiking, cycling, and I'm also a spotive guy practicing tennis since 2006 (i've been tennis coach for children in a club this year) and a recent thriatlon fan. after reading some books, understanding wold's problems and learning about solutions, I'm aiming to travel by bicycle for a long distance to encounter people leading sustainable projetcs. I would like to learn things about a new way of life for me : permaculture and low impact life. World is changing, and I'm searching how to adapt my daily life to be more sustainable. I would be happy to discover your way of life, learn about permaculture, sustainable projects, and share mine !

Tea : I'm Téa and I have a bachelor level in communication. I have travelled 6 month in Canada ans 2 month in Togo, I'm really excited to discover Australia ! In addition to my studdies, I have worked as an animator for children with my BAFA. I would be happy to spend time with children ! I also love outdoor activites and animals.

Batiste speaks an upper intermediate English and Tea is lower intermediate but is able to understand and align words. Both we are really motivated to learn English well ! We are able to teach French (we are native). Batiste can also teach basics in Spanish (vocabulary, verbs). I can explain well in English.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

1st : "i'm Batiste, an engineering student with an expertise in mechanical and industrial engineerging. I have already worked in nature with animals : sheeps ! (feed, cleaning). I have experienced agri-food works, worked as an operator in an industrial company galvanizing methal, and worked as a tennis coach on in a club (with adults and children). What a great experience it was after payling for more than 10 years in amator competition. I have little skills in wood building (planter for plants or a chicken coop for example). I'm also skilled in informatic, video (filming, assembling). I would be happy to share !

2nd : "I'm Tea Lemaire, I will be 22 years old in august and have a bachelor level in communication. While I'm making my studdies, I'm working as children care in different environments (recreation Center, extracurricular, camping). I love animal care (i have a cat, and love horses). I'm also a spotive women ! I've played tennis for 4 years, and practiced rhythmic gymnbastic for 12 years, i can do physical tasks tho. i'm able to work in nature and learn in various domains, i'm curious !"
