Hello!
My name is Bastian, and I am a French-German boy who lives in Switzerland. I live(d) with my two younger sisters and my parents in a beatuiful house on the countryside. I finished Highschool in July 2025 and want to take a look at real life before starting my medical studies. My friends would describe me as an even-tempered person who likes to joke aorund, but without breaking any boundaries. When you ask my teachers, they would tell you I was conscientious, sometimes a little calm. My parents would tell you that I am really reliable. I also try to be nice and helpful whenever I can :).
In my free time, I love playing the piano (have been playing for almost 10 years now), probably my favorite hobby, as well as many sports. As hobbies, I am a runner, tennis player and, as of recently, also a triathlete. I also like to go hiking, and skiing in winter. A rather peculiar hobby of mine is speedcubing (solving rubik's cubes really fast), a really specific interest :)
I have quite a bit of experience in travelling. With my family, I have visited many different countries, and I went to Istanbul alone for a one-month internship at a hospital. These adventures really intrigued me to go and see the world and explore its many different faces. I love to get in contact with untouched nature and I find it really relaxing to go on long walks in the woods, mountains or an open field. All of my travel destinations so far have been very fulfilling for me, and I really hope see many more amazing things!

I took Italian lessons in highschool finishing with level B2 and would love to deepen my knowledge by going to Italy, so that the language sticks forever (or at least, for a longer time). I also fluently speak German, French and English and happily help out or teach any interested person what I know. But please know that I also make mistakes (I'm also human, bear with me)!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I will finish Swiss Highschool in June 2025 with a specialization in biology and chemistry (not sure if it will be of any use though...) and look to study medicine in the coming years. I speak French and German as mothertongues and learned English (level C1) and Italian (level B2) at school. My Italian still needs some training outside of school, but that's what immersion is for :)!
At home, I can do many chores, and I know to prepare a meal or two. I also occasionally help out in our garden. I completed a one-month internship in the ICU at a hospital in Istanbul, which might add to my capabilities of caring for people and find my way in unknown places. I am not too experienced in manual or technical tasks, but I am willing to learn and do my best in anything I do :).
