Hello,
I'm Basile, from Switzerland. After a long year of working and hard studying for the swiss law bar exam, I decided to go on a trip in Northern-Western America. My main goal was to visit a bit of Canada, and that kind of slipped to, why not, visiting a part of the US as well. I really look forward to see the beautiful nature there is there !
I love movies, music (playing it and hearing it), video games, skiing (hence the idea of a trip to Canada 🙃) and cooking.
I'm not a particularly good manual craftsman, but I do like outside work, and would love to pick up new skills, and, maybe, unsuspected talents !

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Gardening : every year since I'm a kid, I like to help my father and uncle work in their small vineyard in the swiss alps. I also worked a few summer in a vineyard near the town I live in. I also like to grow my own tomatoes.

Animals : I'm accustomed to being around animals as I had pets as a kid (cats and a guinea pig) and my neighbors had two lovely dogs we would usually play with.

People : as a lawyer trainee working for a small firm in an average swiss town, I developed social skills I didn't know I could have. Mainly empathy and learning to support people in some difficult times.

Cooking : I love cooking, it's one of the best means I have to relief stress and clear my head. I like to cook for other people and to discover new recipes. I also like cooking with good products.

Bartending : I am member of an association that organizes music shows, so every once in a while I work as a barman, in sometimes very rushy parties with a lot of people.

Hosting : I worked a few times for a swiss film festival (Neuchâtel International Fantastic Film Festival) as a host for the festival's guest, and I had to make sure they were comfortable and also that they were sticking to their schedule (easier with some than others hihi)

Curiosity : after a long year with a lot of time spent reading law books, I'm just eager to get out of my comfort zone and learning and living new things !
