Hello there!

My name is Barbara, I'm 35 years old, originally from France, but I have been living in Belgium for 10 years. I'm a journalist. I love meeting people, talking to them, learning about their daily lives, their passions, their beliefs, their motivations. I love writing stories about the wonderful people and places I discover.

Recently, I've decided to work less and find more time for myself, to travel and to explore the world around me.

In the year 2022 I did a year-long bicycle trip through Europe, Morocco and Turkey. I enjoyed it a lot, but now I would like to spend more time in the same area and to take the time to deepen my relationship with the people I meet.

I'll have a few months off here and there over the next year.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I want to learn more about how I can reduce my impact on the planet and I'm very interested in all environmental issues.

I also have a very good connection with animals.

I'm quite strong and able to work hard, although I don't have any specific manual skills. I own a small old stone house in my country. I've done some renovation work inside: tiling the walls, painting them with natural colours, building furniture for my kitchen with the help of a friend. I also have some basic knowledge of bicycle mechanic.

I am also very sporty. I enjoy cycling (road and touring), running and swimming. I'm practicing triathlon.

I hope that we can find some common interests and that we can be helpful to each other!
