Hello there!
I'm a French woman who's been living in New Zealand for the past 11 years. In January 2025, I embarked on a BIG adventure. My goal is to join my 2 homes by bicycle. I started from Christchurch (New Zealand) where I live with my Kiwi partner, and am slowly making my way back to France via South-East Asia, China, Central Asia, the Arabian Peninsula... I anticipate this journey will take me a good 18 months.
During that time, I know I may need to stop for a week or two to rest my buttocks, take stock and do something other than pedalling. That's where WorkAway comes in!

I have not used the WorkAway platform before. However, I have used HelpX a few times, especially in 2013 when I arrived in NZ. Let me know if you'd like to see the references people have left me :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I hate that part. Talking about myself, it feels like being at an interview...
I love food, I enjoy cooking (I've actually worked as a cook in professional kitchens for a short time), but mostly I enjoy eating LOL. Travelling for me is a great way to experience the cuisine of different countries, especially because I'm cycling, therefore always hungry! :D
I have experience working in hospitality (waitressing, cooking, serving customers) in French, Spanish and English-speaking countries.
My professional career has been around food and marketing.
I've also got some experience working on farms, doing physical work.
I'm good with languages (fluent English and French), numbers (giving money back, this kind of things), I'm not afraid of physical work. I like cats and children :)
