Profile Description:

My name is Augustin JOUAN, and I’m currently in Dublin, exploring Ireland and hoping to make the most of this experience before returning to France in January. I grew up in the French countryside, where I developed a love for nature and animals. My main goals during this stay are to discover Irish culture, enhance my English, and build meaningful relationships. Living with an Irish family would be an incredible way to experience local traditions, and I’d love to contribute to daily life, whether with chores, meal prep, or projects around the house.

Description of Skills:

I am very comfortable around animals, having grown up with goats, chickens, dogs, cats, and beehives, and I enjoy helping with their care. Additionally, I have experience in gardening, as my father grows potatoes, tomatoes, zucchinis, and cucumbers year-round, and I assist him with the upkeep.
I’m a naturally active person and enjoy running three times a week, especially in beautiful landscapes. I am also a third-year Mathematics and Computer Science student, with solid computing skills and basic proficiency in English, which I’m eager to improve during my stay.
In addition to my experience with animals and gardening, I have basic cooking and DIY skills and am familiar with household responsibilities. As the older brother of a 15-year-old, I often assist him with his homework, which has made me patient and adaptable, especially with teenagers.
