My name is Atalya, and I’m a 28-year-old anthropologist from Jerusalem.
I love meeting new people, spending time in nature, and reading. I’m deeply invested in trying to make this world a better place and have been a peace activist for most of my life. I have worked at centers for at-risk youth and collaborated with others in my community on mutual aid projects.
I am interested in Workaway because I think it would give me the opportunity to do things I enjoy and value, such as agricultural work, while also allowing me to learn more about the lives and experiences of others.
I am also interested in learning languages. I speak English, Hebrew, and Arabic, and I am currently learning Spanish.

Me llamo Atalya y soy una antropóloga de 28 años de Jerusalén.
Me encanta conocer gente nueva, pasar tiempo en la naturaleza y leer. Me interesa contribuir a hacer de este mundo un lugar mejor, y he sido activista por la paz durante la mayor parte de mi vida. He trabajado en centros para jóvenes en situación de riesgo y he colaborado con otras personas de mi comunidad en proyectos de ayuda mutua.
Estoy interesada en Workaway porque creo que me daría la oportunidad de hacer cosas que disfruto y que considero valiosas, como trabajar en la agricultura, y al mismo tiempo aprender más sobre las vidas y experiencias de otras personas.
También me interesa mucho aprender idiomas. Hablo inglés, hebreo y árabe, y actualmente estoy aprendiendo español.

Hola! Soy Dado, tengo 29 años, nací en Argentina y actualmente estoy viajando por Chile con mi pareja, Atalya.
Soy maestro de Historia y tengo experiencia trabajando con chicos de primaria y secundaria. Después de varios años de trabajo, estudios y activismo en Jerusalén, decidí tomarme un tiempo para viajar.
Me gusta mucho la naturaleza, hacer trekking, trabajar con las manos y estar rodeado de animales. Tengo experiencia en agricultura, y también trabajé durante un año en una cocina, así que estoy acostumbrado al trabajo físico y a ayudar en distintas tareas.
Hablo español, inglés y portugues. Me interesa especialmente conocer comunidades locales, aprender cosas nuevas y aportar donde pueda.

Hi! I'm Dado, I'm 29 years old, originally from Argentina, and I'm currently traveling around Chile with my partner, Atalya.
I'm a History teacher and have experience working with both primary and secondary school students. After several years of work, studies and activism in Jerusalem, I decided to take some time to travel.
I really enjoy nature, hiking, working with my hands and being around animals. I have experience in agriculture and I also worked in a kitchen for a year, so I'm used to physical work and helping out with different kinds of tasks.
I speak Spanish, English and Portuguese. I'm especially interested in getting to know local communities, learning new things and contributing wherever I can.
