Hi!
My name is Astrid.
Right now I’m exploring Eastern Europe with my boyfriend, Ludvig.
We’re both interested in learning new skills, use our bodies physically and work outdoors.

We both want to travel the world, but aren’t interested in boring holidays by the pool. We like to keep busy and create something with other people. That's why I think traveling with workaway is the perfect fit.
I want to help where it's needed simultaneously with exploring new places, cultures and amazing people.

Language is the most important thing we have. Communication is what we build societies on. The greatest superpower would be to understand and talk every language in the world. That's why I'm interested in learning new languages and I'd love to share my own language with others.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My dream right now is to try out a lot of different hosts with various work tasks.
Hopefully, my skills will be helpfull and sufficient.
My first language is danish and I speak fluent english. I can understand basic german and I'm really interested in learning spanish.
I've worked with horses the most of my childhood. I had my own for a couple of years before college. Animals are one of my big passions. I love being around them and advance their living conditions.
I have good skills around children and people in general. I've been employed in a kindergaten and as a teacher in theatre and basic gymnastic.
My dad is a carpenter and as his oldest child I've helped him with smaller tasks as changing windows, building sheds and painting the house. I enjoy that kind of work where the changes are so easy to see and where you get that feeling of exhausted satisfaction to be done.
The past five years i've almost been a vegetarian, so i've leant to cook a lot of great meals with vegetables.
Also I play the piano just fine and I'd be happy to sing along:)

Autres infos...

I hope to have the time to see the area around my host. I love a fresh run and quick swim in the ocean or to see everything from the top of a hill. Furthermore, I hope to find af host i can connect with personally too.
