Description

My name is Ashlyn, I am 22 years old and I am from an island on the east coast of Canada. So far I have backpacked around Southeast Asia and Central America and I plan to do much more. I love to learn and experience new cultures, explore beautiful areas, and meet new people. I am currently travelling in Australia.

What makes me the most happy is making positive impacts, no matter how small. I value happiness, peace, and compassion in my life. I am very passionate about nature and wildlife, therefore I chose to study wildlife conservation in college.

Through my travels and work away experiences I hope to immerse myself in new cultures, explore new areas, make a difference, and spend as much time as possible outdoors :)

I have received my diploma in Wildlife Conservation, and through this program I have acquired many hands on skills that allow me to work in this field. I also have experience working in various outdoor jobs such as gardening, tree planting, ski instructing, river restoration, wildlife habitat enhancement, and more.

I am a very motivated and determined person, I am very active, I’m personable, easy-going, reliable, and I am passionate about helping others.
