Description

As a 19 year old solo traveller I'm trying to experience as much of the world as possible, and enjoy all the different cultures of the incredible places I visit. In particular, I love the great outdoors more than anything, especially all the incredible scenery and nature it has to offer; in my free time I would have to say hiking is my number one hobby.
I'm super easy-going and love meeting new people from all over the world, in particular the stories they have to tell and their different experiences.
I am a duel citizen of the UK and Australia, living in the former, and so I would love to have an authentic experience of living in Australia to see what I'm missing out on.
Back at home I've had plenty of experiences working with animals, caring for them and loving them all the same. I'm currently volunteering at a dog sanctuary in Phuket and have recently visited an ethical elephant sanctuary in Cambodia which was just amazing.
I also love playing sports in my free time, in particular rugby and football, which I've competed in for many years, even since the age of 6.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've spent time doing garden maintenance for neighbours over a few years, and in Autumn last year I worked as a production assistant in a local apple juice business. I really enjoyed the physical outdoor work because you can physically see the difference each day makes which is very rewarding.
I've also enjoyed caring for animals for many years, ranging from my own cocker spaniel at home, to friends' pets and elephants in Cambodia which I feel very compassionately about.
At home I've spent time volunteering with younger people in many ways, including athletics and rugby coaching with younger kids and maths tutoring up to age 18. I feel like I'm helping younger people to enjoy what I enjoy, and take opportunities which they may not have had access to before, whilst also working on my own communication and problem-solving skills in an attempt to find the best way to come across to the kids.

As a solo traveller I really value meeting people as I believe that's what truly makes a place for me. Even the most unpleasant area you can form fond memories of if you meet the right people, and it's all the better for if the place is incredible as well, as I've found is the case with almost all of my destinations so far.
