Hello there! I am Sara, a 23-year-old university student from Italy. I will hopefully graduate in November and I am going to take a gap year before I begin my master's program.

I have only had one (although extremely positive) workaway experience in the past, but I feel like it contributed to shape me as the person I am today.
I am eager to experience new environments before I dedicate fully to my career. Meeting new people is extremely enriching for me, but it takes a backseat when I bury my head in schoolwork.

I don't consider myself a sporty person, but I am able to do (and enjoy) rock climbing at a very basic level.
I have a lot of hobbies, mainly painting and playing the piano. Of course I am also passionate about Physics, which I'm majoring in.

I love learning new languages. Feel free to contact me even if our spoken languages don't match: I am sure we will find a way to communicate somehow! I used to study French and received a certification Intermediate abilities (DELF B1), although I am not really able to practice it in my daily life. I would love to brush it up again. EDIT: moved French back to beginner, for lack of practice 😆 I am not a native English speaker, but I reckon I have a good fluency (passed Cambridge certifications with level C2).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm about to get my Bachelor's degree in physics in November, so I like to think I know a little about maths and physics.

I have worked with children before - both individually and in groups - at a summer camp. I currently tutor middle and high school students in English, physics and maths.

In my first year of univeristy I worked a part-time job in an "escape room". I loved interacting with customers, especially in such a playful environment.

I have some amateur knowledge in music and art, ad I like drawing, painting, playing the piano and (some) guitar.
Due to my education, I am also quite proficient in coding (mainly Python, but I've used C and C++ in the past).

In a past workaway experience I have learned to use power tools for grinding/polishing metal.
