Currently a little lost in the grand scheme of life. Trying to break out of my comfort zone and figure out who I really am, and what I want for myself. I've studied philosophy in the University of Ghent, so I'm very curious and interested about all different aspects of being alive. To see a different perspective on everything is something I am chasing at the moment. So to anyone that has a life lesson to share with me, I welcome you with open arms.

I was raised bilingual (dutch & italian) and learned english on my own during my youth. I started learning french when I was in school. But I'm still very interested in learning a new language by actually experiencing the culture and environment where it is spoken by the people themselves. That is why I dislike "textbook" learning of languages. I think a language is a living, evolving thing that cannot be properly learned unless it comes from the actual living speakers themselves. As my professor philosophy in Ghent once said: "To speak a different language is to live in a different universe."

I love to learn new things, and am always willing to try out new things. My interests include science in general, but more specifically physics, biology and astronomy. I've studied all kinds of philosophical works and theories, so I'm always willing to have a meaningful conversation about pretty much anything.
To be honest, since this is my first time creating this account, I'm not sure what to really say here. If you have specific questions for me, feel free to ask me!

To be honest, I hope that this website (and the possible experiences it might give me) will be able to help me fill out this section of my profile a bit better. I'm hoping that I can feel a little less lost in this world by learning more about it, and the people that inhabit it. I want to know more about this life than what I've known my entire life by living in the area I have been all along. I know there is more to this world than simply being born, studying, going to work and finally die. And I want to discover that.
