Description

Hi! We’re Antonia and Marita, two friends from Croatia travelling together on a Working Holiday adventure in New Zealand. We’re an easy-going, friendly and reliable team who love meeting new people, learning new skills and getting involved wherever we can help.

We’ve worked in tourism and hospitality, so we’re used to being organised, hard-working and working with people from all over the world. We’re happy doing hands-on jobs like gardening, cleaning, cooking, helping with animals, or general maintenance — and we’re always keen to learn something new!

We’re hoping to find a welcoming farm or homestay where we can lend a hand and experience everyday Kiwi life in exchange for accommodation and great company. We’re looking for short stays (around 1–3 weeks) while we settle in and explore a bit of the country.

We love nature, animals, good food, and sharing stories over coffee after a day of work. We’re positive, respectful, and tidy guests who like to contribute and make things easier for our hosts.

We’re really looking forward to meeting new people, helping out, and making great memories in New Zealand! 😊

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We both have experience in general housework, gardening, cleaning, and hospitality. Since we’ve worked in tourism and guest management, we’re used to being organised, helpful, and working with people from all over the world. We’re open to different kinds of tasks and always ready to learn something new! Some of the things we enjoy and feel comfortable doing include:

Gardening, planting, and outdoor work
Cleaning and general household help
Feeding animals or helping with small farm chores
Simple maintenance or DIY projects
Cooking and helping in the kitchen

We’re reliable, positive, and not afraid to get our hands dirty. We enjoy working as a team, staying active, and keeping a positive attitude in everything we do.

A little about us:

Antonia – Has a degree in economics and experience in both office environments and hospitality/tourism. Loves baking, being outdoors, swimming, and exploring new places. Very organised, friendly, and enjoys meeting new people and learning about different cultures.

Marita – Creative and artistic, loves music, drawing, DIY projects, and nature. Has experience in tourism and hospitality and enjoys connecting with people, discovering new cultures, and bringing a warm and positive energy to every task.

We love the outdoors, animals, and meeting new people from different cultures. We both speak fluent English and we’re very positive, and respectful — we like to keep things tidy and have fun while working.
