I am a Chef by profession and used to be a practicing architect for more than 10 years currently living between Svalbard, Norway and Mysore, India. I'm interested in carpentry, building, gardening and farming and hope to contribute in all these aspects and in the process of gaining important lessons for my own farm in India and other projects inspired by the workaway experiences that I swim through. I absolutely adore cooking and enjoy nurturing a family atmosphere of conversation and warmth through delicious meals. My mission in life is to be naturally amiable, greeting every experience with a warm smile and hug, humbly trying to learn, listen and contribute to our community with open arms and a joyous embrace.

I live in Longyearbyen, Svalbard, and work as a Chef and a guide. I am a spartan and seasoned traveler who is very comfortable in the outdoors, well versed with living and surviving in this Arctic wonderland. I am highly adaptable and am able to acquire new skills very quickly not just to contribute to my hosts but also to absorb and experience new perspectives.

We were lucky enough to have Anoop join us on the farm for a week, during a break in his culinary school. Anoop helped out on the farm with a variety of tasks, and got really involved with the horses. He was a great student, and picked things up very quickly.
