I strive for a small but meaningful life. Spending time with people I care about and being there for them brings me joy - but I also really love spending time by myself and just generally enjoying the small things - a good cup of coffee, a hike in a beautiful place or a dip in the ocean.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
For the first 20 years of my life I lived on a farm and feel very comfortable being outside and 'getting my hands dirty' so to speak both with yard work and taking care of animals (even though I have only ever really taken care of chickens and a dog). I'm very keen on learning new skills and have a positive attitude - even when things get tough.

I enjoy cooking and baking and am pretty decent at it - especially if there is a recipe ;-).

I have a degree in communications and these last couple of years I've been working as a communications consultant at a big agricultural company here in Denmark. But now it's time for me to get out there and do some good - in a way where I can really feel that I'm making a difference day to day.

In my spare time I love reading and watching movies - I recently finished a novel about the Danish painter Vilhelm Hammershøi :-).

I've been going to a weekly water coloring class for a couple of years and really enjoy it. In general I love being creative - painting, embroidering, making crepe paper flowers and I also love writing (not anything specific, but I've always dreamed of becoming a published author!)

Liath and Johanne were wonderful hosts and their house is a lovely place - in beautiful surroundings! I was there at the same time as some other volunteers and so I had wonderful company my whole stay and great chats and good fun.

Cara is a wonderful host! She is kind and generous and I had the best time at John O'Groats. I walked Cara's dog, Measles (an adorable dalmatian), worked in the farm shop and sorted out the B&B for guests.
