Description

I'm Anna and I'm 24. The thing that brings me most happiness is travelling, in all senses. When I meet new people and new cultures, I'm in a journey through their stories; when I read or write a book, I'm discrovering new worlds; and when I listen to new music, dancing to it, I'm walking on undiscovered roads. I'm really motivated to share my talents with others, to help, learn and, most importantly, to create new connections and relationships... I think this is one of the best ways to remember that we are humans and alive.
I can appear as a quiet person, but I'm also very energic and open-minded, I have also a great ability to adapt and I'm very patient.
In the last year and a half I've been traveling through Spain and Portugal, volunteering mostly in farms and artistic projects. I've learned a lot, not only practical skills and knowledge, but also new ways of living. My vision is to keep going with this journey, finding and sharing inspiration until I'll find, or build, a place to stay.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

In school I studied Human Sciences, so I have some experience in education: I helped in a kidergarden and I did private lessons to children and teenagers, teaching italian, too.
I was a volunteer in Romania, through an association: we did a summer camp for local children and we helped with other works in the host house.
I was a Scout, so I learnt to adapt to a lot of situations, especially living in nature.
My biggest hobby is writing, so I master quite well my native language (Italian); I laso did two years in Literature University.
I have basics skills in cooking, taking care of pets (I have a cat and a dog) and houseworks.
I can do basic tasks at the computer and I'm specialized in video editing (I helped a Youtuber editing his videos for months).
I also had experience in the production section of a factory.
Through my Workaway experiences I learnt some basic knowledge about house construction, gardening and organic farming. I also volunteered in a hotel and hostels, in reception, cleaning and laundry tasks. Travelling also made me discover my love for art, that I hope will grow stronger.

I had two exeperiences of cultural exchange before. The first was with my school. I was hosted by a Polish family, and then my family and I hosted their son in Italy. The second was with school, too: I was hosted by an English family with my friends, so we could do a science project in England. I was also a part of a dancing community here in Italy, and we hosted a lot of dancers travelling from all over the world. These were some of the best experiences that I had in my life, the amount of things that I shared with those people made me grow as a better person... so I hope to continue this journey.
