Hi there! 😊
I'm Anna, a passionate traveler from Austria, who is currently doing a gap year in Canada. I’m excited to explore new places, meet amazing people from all over the world, and contribute to meaningful projects along the way!
I’d describe myself as an easygoing, open-minded person who loves connecting with others and experiencing/learning about different cultures. I enjoy playing music, cooking & baking, photography, live music and so much more. I’m always eager to learn new skills or improve the ones I already have. Aside from that, I’m an outdoorsy person who’s always down for a walk or hike, especially with dogs – I absolutely adore dogs in general and I’ve also grown up with two of them :)
While I mainly have professional experience in hospitality, teaching and taking care of children, I've also done some housekeeping, as well as gardening. However, I’m definitely not afraid to get my hands dirty and rise to new challenges. I’m also happy to help with daily tasks, whether it's cooking, cleaning, or getting groceries – wherever you need me!

I'd really like to improve my English and especially my French. I also know a bit of Spanish and Swedish, so I'm open to learn more of that as well. Honestly, I love learning languages in general. If you're interested, I could teach you some German (or even a bit of Austrian dialect :) ).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've worked in a pretty busy fast-food restaurant as a server during summer 2024 which was my first actual experience in hospitality. Before that, I was a private tutor, as well as a babysitter for 4 years while still being in High School. I started working in Canada in November and so far I've worked as a sales assistant and as a prep cook - both jobs were in Calgary.
In other words, I’m pretty good with kids and love working with them, while I also really enjoy working in customer service. Since I spent a lot of time working in our garden with my grandma growing up, I’m able to do some stuff there as well. Besides that I’m a passionate musician with a lot of different skills.
In general though, I'm open to do anything to be honest and I'd also call myself a fast learner. Whether it's working outside or in the house, alone or in a group, I'm able to adapt pretty quickly.
