Hi, I am Angela...I am living since 2012 in an intentional and international community of 150 members in the Alentejo - and I want to be this summer outside the community and discover Portugal and mainly learn to speak and understand Portuguese. I am speaking a bit, but the understanding is difficult for me.
After an illness and the separation from my partner, I want to find my own roots in Portugal, get to know the people, the language, the culture, the nature of Portugal much deeper.
I love animals (I have 2 lovely cats) and I also love passionately cooking mainly vegetarian meals (for 2-20 people alone). And I am also good at maintaining things.
As I am from my higher education a Hotel manager, I have a great sense of clear and clean spaces. But from the community living in the last 15 years I am also experienced to stand chaotic spaces.
I am not smoking, not drinking and mainly living a healthy life with meditation and also usually Yoga. I love to laugh and have fun.

I would love to learn more Portuguese...I know already quite a bit but could never really bring it into my daily life, routine for a longer time (we are speaking all day long English in the community).If of interest for someone, I could try to give German lessons.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can cook for 2-60 people (alone for 2-25 people) a healthy vegan/vegetarian meal. And for 2-4 people I can also cook meat or fish but haven't done it often in the last years.
I am good in any kind of works for a normal household (cleaning, washing, ironing, maintaining things, sewing machine...)
I can help in the garden or care for plants, I have a good sense for plants.
Yes, I love animals! I have 2 very lovely male tiger cats and am also very good with dogs.
I'm used to living together with people - 15 years of community life.
Ah, I am Hotel manager (once upon a time) but I am good at many things at the computer.
I have a good sense for machines or using/maintaining domestic electrical stuff.

I recently started to paint with aquarelle colours, yeahhh and I enjoy it a lot.
I am a rather quiet person, I also love to be with myself. No need to entertain me ;)
