Hi! My name is Alex, I am a 29 year old girl from Norway. I have previously volunteered at a dog shelter in Croatia, where i still go back at least once a year, and worked with shelter dogs and street dogs in Bulgaria. I have also done some short term volunteering outside of Workaway, mainly taking pictures and running social media accounts for hostels and dog shelters on my travels.

I LOVE travelling, exploring new places and going for new exciting adventures, learning new skills and new languages and experiencing different cultures around the world. Plus, I love animals more than anything in the world!

I love getting to know new people, sharing knowledge, culture and interests. I see myself as pretty easy going and easy to talk to! I love being active, wether it's doing sports or just going for a walk, but also just chilling with a good book or a movie.

From this experience I would like to learn and share skills and new cultures. I wanna be as helpful as possible, and return the kindness and the trust that you beautiful hosts give us.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a bachelor's degree in Physical Activity and Nutrition, and I work as a bartender. I have plenty of experience working with and taking care of animals. I have a pretty big family with lots of kids, and I babysit for them pretty often. I grew up on the countryside, and I very much enjoy doing some manual labour and getting my hands dirty! I learn pretty quickly, and would love to learn some new skills.
I am a people person, and see myself as a pretty easy going and social person. I love getting to know new people, and sharing knowledge, culture and interests.

I am a very active person, and most of my interests involve physical activity. Soccer, Snowboard, cross-country skiing, running and strength training to mention some. I also love a good book or a movie. I am a huuge Star Wars fan. I love to talk about music, especially rock and metal, but also just music in general.
