Hi,

We’re Aneta and Gabi

We're travelling to Canada for a year and looking to get to know the culture and country and just try to blend in with the locals.
We love the nature and being outside, working in the garden, learning about sustainability and self-sufficiency.
During our travels we already spent some time working on organic farms, helping with garden maintenance and whatever else was needed really. We are not afraid of hard work and getting our hands dirty.
We are seeking similar Workaway exchanges, which would allow us to connect with new people, make friends, learn about the local culture, language and learn new skills for working.

Aneta is a foodie, experienced chef (preferably pastry chef), and has a degree in food engineering. She loves to cook and then taking photos of her creations. She recently worked in a food lab where she put all that uni knowledge into action, creating new sweet products and developing new flavours of existing well known and loved lines.

Gabi just escaped a 9 to 5 office job. She is a translator and a teacher with passion for learning languages. In the Workaway exchange she is looking to get to know how sustainability can be applied in real life to create a place for her own more in tune with nature

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We can be help with any farm work like weeding vegetable beds, cleaning chicken house, pruning trees, harvesting, planting, weeding, feeding animals and many other. We can also build wooden fences or other small objects. We enjoy cooking, baking bread, pizzas and cakes (Aneta is a professional chef de cuisine). Gabi is also good with English (she's a teacher in Poland), she can help you with "polishing your English" or teach Polish ;-)
