Hello, beautiful people! 😊

My name is Andrius — I’m originally from Lithuania, and after years of traveling, learning, and exploring different paths, I’m on a journey to reconnect with nature, simplicity, myself and other fellow humans 🤍

A few years ago, I took a step away from city life and began volunteering through Workaway, including time on an permaculture farm community in Portugal and a family-run retreat sanctuary in Sardinia, Italy. These hands-on experiences deepened my desire to live closer to the earth and contribute to meaningful projects, particularly in a community setting.

***A few facts about me***

• I am playful and enjoy social company — whether it’s a deep conversation or a simple, joyful chat. That said, I usually need a bit of time to settle into new places. I also try my best to be honest and open with whatever arises in life situations.
• I have a Bachelor's degree in Economics, but right now I’m happily teaching mathematics to children remotely.
• I bring two healthy arms and legs. They’re currently on the slim side, but they have solid muscle memory from the past! 😄
• I don’t have many special needs or requests, you could probably call me low-maintenance. Yet, I do value a good night’s sleep!
• I’m not afraid of work or responsibility, though back issues sometimes get in the way.
• I love all kinds of games: sports, board games, computer games, social games - you name it!
• I am curious about a lot of things: psychology, spirituality, sociology, philosophy, technology.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m not sure I have a specific craft to offer, but I’ve volunteered on other Workaway projects and done a variety of jobs throughout my life that could be useful while Workaway’ing. Most importantly, I’m eager to learn new things on the go: whether through hands-on experience, experimenting, or watching YouTube tutorials 😀

For some reason, teaching has unexpectedly become a part of my life. I’ve volunteered teaching English in a few places, and without planning it, I started teaching mathematics to children professionally. Similarly, I’m interested in various body-mind-spirit practices and have spontaneously guided breathwork and Qi Gong sessions while volunteering at other Workaway projects. I’m also interested in different types of yoga and meditation, and am always happy to learn something new from others. By no means am I a professional, but sometimes, if the moment calls for it, I could share something I know with others 😊
