We're Andy and Giulia, from Cantabria in northern Spain and Puglia in southern Italy, respectively. We are two biomedical scientists who have spent the last two years navigating the bustling streets of New York City, but now, we're craving a change of pace and a chance to immerse ourselves in the tranquility of nature.

Nature isn't just our passion—it's ingrained in our very beings. Growing up in the countryside has instilled in us a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. We find solace in the great outdoors. We're also avid social butterflies. We thrive on meaningful or meaningless conversations, shared laughter, and hearing and sharing life experiences. As our hobbies, Giulia is an amateur actress in love with pottery and knitting, and Andy is a wannabe musician and a book lover. With our combined linguistic prowess in Spanish, Italian, English, and French, we're adept at bridging cultural divides and embracing the rich tapestry of diversity that the world has to offer. We're eager to embark on new adventures, immerse ourselves in unfamiliar cultures, and forge connections that transcend borders.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience as volunteer for different multicultural, art, film festivals and events. I enjoy working with and for people. Besides my volunteering activities, during my professional experience in biochemistry and biomedicine, I am handwork skilled, as well as used to collaborate and do constant team-work with different people from different nationalities. I am experienced in problem solving and fast reacting at work, moreover I think I am pretty good at creating good and positive working atmosphere and making myself helpful whatever task is needed, always enthusiastic and motivated.
I have deep knowledge in biology and biochemistry and I have also strong computer skills since it has been one of my main working tools. I have strong organisation skills which were essential through all my studies. I could share any of my skills since I acquired some teaching experience during my PhD.
I speak both Spanish (mother tongue) and English (working language) fluently but I also can communicate in Italian and French. Since I lived the last 5 years in Luxembourg (which has 3 different official languages) I am pretty used to communicate in different languages. I am a good swimmer and hiker since I have been doing it all my life so I could help in any outdoor activities.

Besides traveling and meeting people I love music. I play a bit of piano and guitar, mostly for fun. I also love cinema, I participated in several movie festivals as volunteer. I love sport and try to practice regularly. I like any water-related sports. I have been practicing kayak and snorkelling for quite a while, but I am also interested in surf and scuba diving. I enjoy being surrounded by animals. I grew up in the countryside and used to farm life. I am a compulsive reader, and an everyday life pseudo-philosopher that enjoys any topic of conversation.
