Hi! :))
I'm Andrea, I'm from Bari (southern Italy) and I'm 23. I've studied management engineering but I’ve figured out that my passion is exploring new cultures, discovering new places, helping people and sharing with them life experiences that can enrich me and my life.
Therefore, when I had a break from studying, I used to book a flight or to lose my way in woods near my city and I feel regenerated.

I think I have three life goals.
First of all, I'm a sensitive person, so I really care about social situations in the poorest countries of the world. I want to travel to help these societies to overcome their daily issues and to give their children a better future but always respecting and preserving their culture and lifestyle: as a western guy, I have a lot to learn from them.
Moreover, I'm deeply in love with Nature. I think that living respecting it and in symbiosis with it is the right way to inhabit this world. Western culture has forgotten how to live in this way, but other cultures and indigenous people are preserving this connection with the environment and I really want to learn both ancient and modern knowledge about this lifestyle.
Finally, I want to travel to improve myself, to go through my inner shadows, to fight them, to open my mind and myself to other points of view about the world. That's why I'm starting to learn more about Asian philosophies and religions and I would love to experience these lifestyles in that part of the world.

For these reasons, I want to discover and to travel to Central and South America, South-East/Est Asia and Africa: I think that these cultures have the best relationship with nature and the best sense of spirituality.

I speak English but not perfectly, so I would like to improve it and I would love to learn Spanish: this language wins me over.

I also like photography: I've both analog and digital camera but I'm still studying and learning.
I'm very interested in climate change, natural landscapes conservation and preservation of indigenous people and cultures as well: these are topics that I really care about.

I just came back from a Camino di Santiago. There are a lot of things to say about that but one of the most important is that I really want to feel again that kind of connections between people while I'm travelling: I love feeling generosity, altruism and empathy between strangers and, from this situation, building a strong and pure friendship. That's why I love doing volunteering.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've started a master about digital marketing. I'm at the beginning of the course but I've already done some projects about copywriting and video editing.
I'm studying photography as a self-taught and I'm practising every day and during my trips using both digital and analog camera: I love it and I want to improve my skills to reach a professional level (hopefully :) ). Moreover, a few months ago I've started to study video-editing to create some videos on my travel experiences.
I'm also the cook in my family and I would like to share recipes of italian culture!
I would love to learn new abilities about gardening, farming or other fields to help the hosts to do their works!
I lived alone for 2 years, so I'm able to do house work and to take care of general maintenance of an house, like cleaning and cooking: I'm a responsible guy :)
