I am currentlyn heading to Salvador (Brazil) and I am going to be around there until the end of January learning Portuguese :)
Description
I approach life with a positive mindset and an open heart, finding true happiness when I feel grounded and connected to myself. That's why I'm dedicated to daily meditation and yoga; they help me set the tone for the day. I love chatting with strangers and hearing their personal stories, which is one reason I'm passionate about traveling. Meeting people from different parts of the world inspires me and gives me a space to reflect on my own ways of living.
I'm involved in various projects in the music scene in Freiburg (Germany) where I have been living during the past 6 years. Djing is my hobby and I also organize two summer festivals with friends. Seeing people enjoy music, dance, and express themselves through movement brings me great joy. This passion has recently led me to start dancing salsa, which has made me even happier.
Beyond my creative pursuits, I'm deeply invested in my studies, which motivate me to aim for bigger goals in my career. I'm studying neuroscience and have recently gained experience in a lab developing neuroprosthetics. This work has fueled my academic journey, as I aspire to one day help people regain movement lost due to stroke or spinal cord injury.
There are many more things that bring me happiness, and I hope this description gives you a good sense of who I am! :)
Before I started my studies in 2017, I was managing a couple of volunteering projects focused on cultural exchange. Although this experience was exciting and I learned a lot while welcoming many international volunteers in Saint Petersburg (Russia), I've been eager to explore other types of projects that would allow me to learn about the ways of living on land from local people in countries of my destination. These include gardening, working in NGOs, helping families, caring for animals, and assisting with children or working on bigger construction projects. Now that I've finished my studies, I'm excited to engage in activities I love and miss in my daily academic life.
I want to meet new people, work on projects with them—whether in their households or within a larger community—share experiences, learn new hands-on skills, and simply exist in the moment. I find great fulfillment in doing something tangible, where the results of your work are visible and can be celebrated with others.Centres d’intérêt

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Aside from being a bit of a nerd who loves writing essays and scientific papers, I'm really into hands-on activities. Organizing two festivals in Germany each year has given me experience in various crafty areas, including:
Painting
Building different structures, like festival stages
Decorating
Hanging up lights
Setting up stage equipment
Cooking for large groups
Organizing people (managing projects) and dividing tasks when necessary, and keeping an overview of the entire process
In addition, I have two years of experience working in a hospital as a midwife assistant in the delivery room. This role has made me quite stress-resistant, and I enjoy assisting people through such an intense experience at the hospital.
I love children and find it easy to connect with them since I have two nieces (10 and 6 years old). I looove hanging out with them and do some fun creative projects together, whether it's crafting things together or preparing a dance choreography for their school :)
I have a deep love for animals. Growing up, I had the opportunity to take care of various animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, and pigs, thanks to my grandmother's house in a small Russian village. This experience has made me very comfortable around animals. Since the age of 4, I spent every summer living at my grandparents' house, which helped me connect with nature on a deeper spiritual as well as practical level. I love doing things in the garden when helping my grandparents with the variety of tasks, whether it's collecting bugs in the potato field or taking care of tomatoes and other veggies. This connection to nature is essential to me because of my upbringing, and I really miss getting my hands dirty while living in cities and not having the opportunity to spend time one-on-one with the soil.Âge

I love collaborating on projects with others, being creative, inspiring each other, and exchanging ideas. Whether it's cooking together, brainstorming, gardening or bulding things up, being part of a warm and welcoming community with a shared goal is incredibly fulfilling for me on many levels. I'm super excited to work on various projects this year, so feel free to reach out to me! :)
