My aim is to learn how we can live in solidarity with nature and people. In free time I enjoy hiking, climbing, kayaking, cooking, doing arts and crafts, playing music, dancing, watching cinema, etc..

Description

I came to Brazil in June 2024 to participate in the program Guerreiros Sem Armas (GSA, Warriors without weapons) dedicated to social transformation and community development. It was an unforgettable experience that gave me lots of gifts and new friends.

After GSA I volunteered for a month at the farm, and discovered that this is the best way for cultural exchange and learning about the things I was always interested in: organic food production and sustainable agriculture, bio construction and ecological housing, local nature and culture, outdoor education and so many more.

In the times when the world is going crazy, what gives me hope is the discovery and exploration of the initiatives, projects and communities that are searching and creating different forms of living based on solidarity with nature and people. I learn from these cases a lot because I want to find my way to live friendly with nature. I see it as a way to contribute to building a more peaceful, just and joyful world. And I am happy that there is Workaway, which opened me a new incredible world of places, people, activities and initiatives to explore.
