HI,
I'm Serena, I'm 30y and I'm Italian, precisely from southern Italy.
I have a degree in agriculture.
Since I was a child I have always loved animals, of any species.
Indeed I have worked with: goats, cows, horses, pigs, chickens.
I've always been surrounded by cats and dogs.

In 2022 I decided to leave Italy as I was not satisfied with what it was offering me and felt there was so much in the world to discover.
I traveled by car and tent between France, Spain (where I did a section of the Camino de Santiago) until I reached Portugal.
I've been a workawayer since June 2022, but I had a couple profile before.. not anymore.
I was in Portugal collaborating with various Quintes in their green projects:
- built wooden stairs on the ground, to replace a steep descent, to connect two terraces of the land (do it yourself);
- made wooden stairs to connect two floors of a stone house rebuilt from scratch by the owners (do it yourself);
- I collaborated in the manufacturing processes to obtain herbal teas, soaps and natural cosmetics;
- I participated in a reforestation project in a totally Off-Grid area;
- Gardening / weeding / watering;
- monitoring fruit trees and natural treatments for diseases/infestations;
..out of necessity (and to try something new), during the reforestation project, I worked part time in a small cafe on a "river beach" in a small village.
I also spent 7 months as house sitter in a land with dogs, cats, chickens and peacocks, where I also managed an Airbnb: I took care of making the reservations, cleaning the yurt and the small hut (changing beds, towels, cleaning the bathrooms, the kitchen...), the check-ins.
I worked in a surfhouse and a hostel as a receptionist, cleaner and breakfast shift.

In my life I am also a photographer and my big dream is to learn video editing so I can tell my point of view, how I see the world and its beauties.

I am a curious and an enthusiastic person;
I believe in positive energy and contact with nature.
I love learning as many jobs as possible and always putting myself to the test.
First of all I love traveling and filling my eyes with new places.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've lived alone since I was 18 so I know how to cook Italian dishes well but also something more exotic and spicy; I love sweet breakfasts so I enjoy preparing crepes and pancakes;
I prefer cleanliness and order; gardening relaxes me;
I've had jobs as a waitress and hostess, so I'm skilled in hospitality and kindness;
I have confidence and I really like working with wood: I know how to use the sander, jigsaw, circular saw, table saw;
I know how to use a drill and a screwdriver and I like building or fixing objects;
I've always had a great passion for photography, but also for painting (which I don't consider myself good at);
I know how to crochet, I just started using the sewing machine;
I like to practice yoga, pilates and sometimes meditation;
I like walking alone or in company.
