Hello, my name is Amelie. I am 20 years old and finished school in July 2024. I speak English and German.
Before my studies will start in autumn 2025, I like to learn things about other counties and people by traveling.
I am interested in everything concerning plants and nature in general. I try always, getting new experiences in this field.
In 2023, I made a special apprenticeship, learning all about fruit farming and
horticulture.
Beside school, I worked for 3 years in a company who cultivates gardens in general, specifically all kinds of trees. In this time, I improved my handcraft skills in this field.

Margaret and Richard were great hosts. They made me feel welcome from the begin. The work was varying from cleaning and housekeeping to gardening. Amelie, was a wonderful mature person for her 20 years. Very calm in nature, just made herself at home and saw things to do. A very capable energetic worker.

Amelie is a great person with far more experience than her age suggests. She is proficient with tools and is very good at anticipating what needs doing. She is capable and willing both indoors and out.
Amelie has a great personality and is a good conversationalist.

Judi und Alister were amazing hosts. I loved my stay there. Their house is in the perfect location with a beautiful view over the vineyard and the mountains. The room and bathroom was clean and tidy. Steve, Tara,Maggie, Chester and Mala, were wonderful! I stayed at here for one and a half week and it was fantastic. Steve is an amazing tour guide and knows some much interesting facts about Wanganui. He can show you so many cool spots in his town. I stayed with Sarah and her family for just a few days but it was wonderful. The are all super friendly and made sure I felt welcome. The work was different every day. And I had a lot of fun playing volleyball against the boys. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Susy and Bernhard were amazing hosts. They were my first workaway experience and it couldn't be any better. I stayed there for two months and it was wonderful.
