Actuellement, je suis

Description

I am self starter and have spent the last couple of decades starting and running my own coaching, mentoring and training enterprise. I usually support people working in non profits and social enterprise and in public service. I’ve heaps of small business management experience - as in been there, got the t shirt etc!
I am an experienced and enthusiastic gardener, a mountain and trail walker, and an organiser and communicator.
I have TESOL which I gained in Nepal after doing a self managed trek to Annapurna Sanctuary.
I’ve had 5 previous careers in my life, all enriching, helping me to where I am now, though not without challenges!
I have a purposeful life and aim to always give back, especially through responsible travel. I like to get stuck in and help and support where it is needed, and love making new connections and immerising myself in cultures and new places.
What makes me happy is walking and hiking in nature including to high places, finding wild flowers and learning their names (if I came back in an after life I’d be a botanist explorer); spending time in the outdoors, travelling, helping people learn, supporting community and making a difference. I am an optimist.

Qualified to post grad degree - one in coaching and mentoring practice and one in HRD and Organisational Development.
Qualified to degree level in Learning and Development Practice. I can train people in almost anything!
TESOL and qualified counsellor at L2.
Experienced and dedicated amateur gardener and lover of growing things.
A reader of whodunnits.
Had roles in disability rights work; community development; sports development; corporate hospitality and events management; national UK directorship roles in not for for profits covering youth services, events, projects; corporate role in local government; national enterprise support roles helping starts ups and social enterprises.
Set up and run my own small micro business.
Co-founded a womens’ social enterprise support network business with two other women in my community.
Volunteer in homelessness, on a local youth outdoor centre committee. A DofE volunteer for Gold level expeditions.
I am a strong communicator and active listener and I am VERY organised. I work at pace. I engage with anyone anywhere through finding connection and common ground. I am IT literate. I am a confident presenter and host of others. I bring energy, humour and kindness.
