Description

Hello,

we are two friends Betka and Katarína from Slovakia. For the past years, we have worked as therapists with children and young people with Autism, a role that has taught us a lot about empathy, patience and many other things.
For this summer and autumn, we decided to take a little break and go out into the world, seeking for some fresh experiences and inputs. And we find Workaway as perfect way to do so :)

Betka: I love spending time in nature and with people. Volunteering in civic organization, where we have been organizing children camps and other activities, has given me a deep sense in teamwork and building community. In addition, I like singing, playing guitar, swimming, hiking and many other things.
Katka: Having spent my whole childhood in scouting, I developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors, teamwork, and community. In addition to my love for nature, I am passionate about animals, dance and good food—each bringing joy and fulfillment to my life.

During this time, we would love to work somewhere with Workaway to connect with people, embrace new cultures, make diverse experiences and learn new skills.

This is our first experience with Workaway and we´re very excited to be helpfull where it´s needed.
