Hi there, my name is Diego.

I was born in Chile and lived for more than 28 years in Santiago. My profession is an Agricultural Engineer, I dedicated myself for years to the development of biological and organic products for agriculture.

The motivation to join Workaway stems from the concern of knowing how people live in other parts of the world, learning from them and being able to share my culture with them. In addition to being able to contribute with my "grain of sand" to the realization of their projects and dreams.

I find happiness working in the fields, in a deep conversation, sharing some music, cooking, exchanging ideas about everything, walking in nature and playing sports.
Carpe diem, living the present from the oriental point of view are great ideas where I get inspiration for the day to day. So if we get to know each other, you can count on me to get involved in your project as if there were no tomorrow, being 100% committed and putting all my energies into the required tasks.

I have lived in Sweden and Germany. I have also volunteered in more than 10 countries.

My idea is that Workaway accompanies me during these years in which I want to visit part of the planet.

I studied agronomic engineering and dedicated myself for more than 4 years to the development of biological and organic products for agriculture. Volunteer related to organic production in greenhouses, construction and cooking.
