Description

Hi! We’re Nastia (24) and Alon (23), a couple from a small mountain village in northern Israel.
We’ve been together for almost 3 years, sharing our daily life, running a household together, and taking care of animals we love. We have a dog and a free roam bunny we rescued, as well as chickens we raise at home.

Living in nature is an important part of who we are – we love the quiet of the countryside, long hikes in forests, rivers, and lakes, discovering new places, and connecting with people from different backgrounds. We enjoy traveling, experiencing new cultures, and exploring different lifestyles. We also like music, celebrations, creating and building things, and of course – caring for animals.

For the past few years, we’ve been working in agriculture and manual labor, gaining practical experience in farm life, physical work, and hands-on projects. We are passionate about authentic farm living: growing food, organic farming, and taking care of farm animals.

What we’re looking for in Workaway:
• A real farm-life experience with animals and nature
• Meeting kind and pleasant people in a warm, respectful environment
• Learning new skills and exploring the local culture
• Supporting the community while enjoying a warm and positive atmosphere
• Tips and guidance about life in Australia, especially as we are just starting our journey here and hoping to find farm jobs later on

I have strong hands-on skills and enjoy physical, practical work. I have experience in:

- Woodworking and basic carpentry
- Installing and cleaning solar panels
- Vineyard work and cherry picking
- General maintenance and renovations
- Gardening and outdoor work
- Working with animals
- Assisting with children's activities and education

I'm reliable, quick to learn, and not afraid of hard work. I’m comfortable using tools, working outdoors, and adapting to different tasks. Always happy to lend a hand wherever it’s needed!

Nastia (24):
I’m a fast learner who loves physical work, enjoys being close to the land, and has a deep passion for animals and their welfare. eager to learn new practical skills such as woodworking, construction, and the use of tools. I have experience in:

-Certified in First Aid
-Many years of experience with children (ages 5–11) and teenager
-Basic IT management, computer repair, and graphic design skills
-Experience in cannabis farms and truffle mushroom farm
-Outdoor work in challenging weather conditions (cold, rain, etc.)
-Vineyard work, fruit picking, and team management of pickers
-Experience with the care and welfare of working dogs
-Artistic skills , drawing and crafts
-Basic knowledge and experience in cooking
