Hello! I am a science writer working for a biotech company, but my passions are nature, the outdoors, sustainable living and local food systems. I have a life goal to create a sustainable homestead and am so excited to learn from those who are already walking this path. I believe deeply in the importance of community and love to build meaningful relationships with people from all backgrounds, as I believe we are all both students and teachers. I have a dog named Farmer who is my constant companion and spreads joy everywhere he goes!

I am strong, capable, and don't shy away from hard work. I've done some basic gardening, landscaping, and home improvement projects. I can clean and am extremely adept at organizing.

I have a keen interest in mycology and have started learning how to identify and forage mushrooms. This is a skill I would love to develop further. I am particularly interested in learning about gardening, canning, herbal remedies, and how different cultures relate to their local food system.
