Description

What motivates me most is learning, discovering new ways of living, and sharing meaningful experiences with people from different backgrounds. I feel happiest when I am outdoors, working with my hands, helping with a useful project, and feeling part of a small community.
I am especially interested in farming, permaculture, environmental projects, low-tech solutions, renovation, and practical outdoor work. I enjoy learning new skills, improving my English, playing guitar, cycling, hiking, and having good conversations around a shared meal.
For me, Workaway is not only about finding accommodation. It is a way to meet inspiring people, contribute to their projects, discover local life, and create genuine connections while travelling.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a background in environmental science and natural hazards, with experience in fieldwork, mapping, data collection and outdoor projects. I am comfortable working in nature, adapting to difficult conditions and learning new practical skills.
I also have experience in organic farming, including weeding, harvesting, maintaining crops, clearing vegetation and helping at local markets. I have used tools such as brush cutters, chainsaws, drills and other hand and power tools. Through low-tech projects, I gained experience working with wood and metal and building simple equipment.
Since arriving in Australia, I have also worked in forestry, carrying out physically demanding tasks in remote areas. I am reliable, motivated and not afraid of hard work, but I also pay attention to safety and clear instructions.
I can help with gardening, farm work, landscaping, basic maintenance, DIY projects, cleaning, cooking and general daily tasks. I enjoy teamwork, but I am also able to work independently. I am curious, respectful and always happy to learn from people with more experience!

In my free time, I enjoy cycling, hiking, camping and exploring natural places. I have already travelled by bicycle in New Zealand and Australia, and I really enjoy the freedom, simplicity and unexpected encounters that come with this way of travelling.
I am also learning to play the guitar and I enjoy music, photography, cooking and sharing meals with others. I like meaningful conversations, but I also appreciate quiet moments, reading and spending time outdoors.
I am interested in permaculture, agroecology, low-tech projects, sustainable lifestyles and learning how people create more independent and environmentally friendly ways of living. I am easy-going, curious and open-minded, and I enjoy meeting people from different cultures. I am always happy to join social activities, discover new games or traditions, and share my culture.
