Hello, nice to meet you!

We are Alissa and Orianna, a couple from Germany and Ireland respectively.

Last October, I (Alissa) started traveling through Ireland and met Ori, who is just as excited about getting to know the most beautiful places around the world. We not only decided to travel together, but also to create wonderful memories and have an awesome time!


We love walking through the woods and listening to birdsong, and making friends and creating memories. Seeing new sights and living new experiences motivates us to get out of our comfort zones!

Alissa —
I feel happy whenever I am able to experience the bright and wonderful sides of life, for example when I'm traveling, listening to music and singing in the car, swimming or just being outside.
As a creative and artistic individual, I have always been passionate about expressing myself through art and thereby bringing colors into the world.

Orianna —
I enjoy learning the intricacies of projects and hobbies from people who are passionate about them. I love learning how things work, as well as the rules for new board and card games.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Alissa —
During school, I helped younger students with their homework, boosting their confidence in difficult subjects. Outside of school, I worked as a lifeguard, completing necessary training and exams to secure the position.

I gained a lot of knowledge while having the chance to mind children as a workawayer and I enjoyed spending time with them.

Additionally, I love cooking, preparing nutritious meals, and experimenting with new recipes!

Orianna —
I'm the ‘tech support’ in the family. I'm pretty computer literate, and I'm always the first choice to solve issues my family has with computer programs or the television set-up!

I have a young nephew (almost two years old now!) and have experience taking care of him, keeping him entertained, changing his nappies, and putting him to bed.

We both genuinely enjoy working with children. Their energy and curiosity bring us great joy, and we find it rewarding to be a part of their growth and development.

We both have a deep affection for animals, especially cats and dogs (and horses! -Alissa) (and bunnies! -Ori).
Alissa did horse-riding as a young teenager and grew up with a dog, while Orianna has never lived in a house that didn't have at least one cat in it.

We have a passionate interest in gardening. Orianna has attended an organic gardening course, learning about growing vegetables without chemicals, and has grown up in a house with self-proclaimed 'crazy plant-people'. Alissa has worked hard gardening at previous workaway stays and helped her grandpa with tasks like trimming the hedges, mowing the lawn, weeding etc.

We're both passionate about art and literature, and would be delighted to assist with any creative tasks you have in mind.

We're always eager to explore new avenues and push our boundaries. Hard work doesn't intimidate us! We're excited to learn from you and embrace new experiences.
