Hola dear hosts!
I'm Alina from Germany, 25 years old and just finished my Master's degree in Biodiversity and Nature Conservation. Before looking for a job, I wanted to take some time off to travel because if not now, then when, right?
Spain was the first country that popped into my mind because of the warm weather and I really want to improve the Spanish skills that I acquired 6 years ago in South America but that have become rusty since then.
I have done workaway three times before and enjoyed it very much! In the last two years, I have spent a lot of time at my desk which is why I would love to find a host where I can work in nature and with my hands, something that fell short in the past. That could be gardening, building or working with animals, I could also imagine working in ecotourism.
I have some experience working on farms, especially with sheep, but also doing other things around the farm. I am reliable and eager to learn about everything, but especially permaculture, animal care and construction.
For me the biggest benefit of workaway is being able to connect with people that live in the host country. I would love it if you could help me get to know the Spanish culture, food and language better and I would be happy to share my own culture as well if you are interested!

I used to be able to have conversations in Spanish after spending some time in South America. Since then my Spanish became a bit rusty which is why I would love to reactivate the knowledge that is still left and improve my Spanish
