Hello!

Im Alex, a traveler from Australia. I love exploring, from my own country to the world. I love meeting new people and learning from them to gain a wider understanding of the world!

I am motivated everyday to learn from the people around me and grow. I get a lot of happiness from being and working outdoors, being connected to nature and living a simple down to earth life! My dream is to one day own my own property with animals and to be able to fish everyday and build my own home. Simple life = happiness

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a vast amount of experience across the construction industry, and I think of myself as skilled and handy in general construction and maintenance. As well as this I have vast experience in customer service, which has taught me how to interact with people in a friendly and professional manner whilst at work.

- 2 years experience as a fencer/carpenter: during this time I was demolishing, building and installing new fences from a range of materials as well as performing general carpentry repairs to houses.

- 1 year experience carpentry: prior to fencing I worked as the assistant to a carpenter, my role included sourcing materials, demolition and planning and building wood features for houses

-3 years + experience cafe/restaurant: while studying at university I worked in a cafe, producing quality coffee in a timely and friendly way. From this job I gained strong interpersonal skills and time management qualities.

Overall my experience in a wide variety of hands on labour and customer service areas has given me the ability to be a handy, adaptable and functional worker. I pride myself on being a quick learner and applying this knowledge to finish whatever project I’m tasked with. I’m a hard worker who enjoys tough jobs (and having a beer after them) and loves a challenge!
