Hello there,
If you're reading this, I'd like to give you a little insight into who I am. I'm Alex, 26 years old and a German potato.

I'm an open person with a big heart, friendly, and a bit of a joker, so I'm always up for a laugh. ;)
I am very curious and adventurous.
I am creative and skilled with my hands, and I am always good at improvising (spontaneously).
I am helpful and very communicative and open to deep conversations. I favor a life of ease :)

I have gained incredible motivation and strength from a difficult time and want to use this to get out of my usual hamster wheel. I want to get to know and love the world, cultures, people, and myself in a new or even better way, and I would also like to tell you about myself, my country, and the culture and life of a perhaps not entirely typical German.

I begun my journey, for an indefinite period of time. I started in Germany and went from Bavaria to Romania and then to Budapest. I am currently in Serbia and open for new wonderful places and destinations! :)
My friends and family think I am crazy and courageous because I have given up almost all my material possessions and only have my backpack. I am simply setting off and letting myself be carried along by myself, the country, and the people, and living the aspect of freedom.

I live in a part of Germany where the weather is more like that of Great Britain, and I am magically drawn to the sea and the sun. In general, nature gives me incredible strength! I love Mother Nature, sports, yoga, swimming, snorkeling, all kinds of exercise and activity, but also relaxing moments with good conversation and delicious food and drink. I am an open person who enjoys meeting new people and is not averse to having a travel buddy. I also prefer to work with my body and be active, as I am a craftsman (car mechanic), but here too I am curious, open-minded, and always eager to learn!

I love having conversations and I am a good listener as well as a good talker. I learn a new language best by actively speaking it. I am patient, curious, and motivated. I prefer to use newly learned words and phrases directly in the respective countries with the corresponding language, and I enjoy the smiling faces I often get when I try to practice. It's also just more fun with a real person than with an app. :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I worked as a master mechanic in Germany. Even as a child, I enjoyed working with my hands and helping my parents out around the house and garden. I love talking to people, listening to them, and expressing my opinion openly and honestly.
I am good at repairing things, improvising, and finding solutions, especially in groups.
That's why I also like new and unfamiliar challenges and tasks.
I like manual work, am good with tools and metal and wood and have a good technical understanding.
I am communicative, patient, funny, flexible, honest, and direct, but also adaptable.
