Description

We are Marco and Alessandra, a Sicilian couple. Marco has worked for many years as a barista. Alessandra is a childcare educator with over twenty years of experience as a babysitter.
In 2020 we decided to work only on our vacation rentals and travel as much as possible. Alessandra Works as a pool lifeguard only in the summer.
We are both passionate about sports, the outdoors and travel. Marco loves playing tennis and I love swimming. Cultural and linguistic exchange is very important for us to be able to learn and improve languages. We are both dynamic, flexible and love the quiet life, silence, nature and animals. We like to wake up early in the morning to start the day and be productive.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are neat, tidy and clean people. We both know how to do DIY, gardening and general maintenance of the house or outside space. Things we know how to do: paint walls, sand wood, keep a garden, a chicken coop and the house in general clean. We can help with organising the vegetable garden, for example, removing weeds, preparing the ground for planting, harvesting fruit and vegetables. Alessandra loves to paint with watercolours and can therefore paint indoors or outdoors; she can cook if necessary. We have both lived with dogs in our family and love being with and looking after animals, including horses, cows, sheep and others. We both have driving licences and know how to drive well. We are very helpful and eager to learn new things to do.

We love to go for long walks, watch the sunset and sometimes even watch a movie. We are a very quiet couple, we don't smoke. We expect that the experience with Workaway will allow us to meet many people, new places and culture, to learn English, Spanish and maybe other languages ​​​​well.
And us? We offer our desire to work, to play with your children, to take care of your animals with love, to take care of your garden, to teach you Italian, to cook some recipes from our land and to always be ourselves.
