Hello! I am Alessandra, I was born and grew up in England, UK, and recently moved to Trento, Italy, with my family. After finishing my A-Level studies I worked in a local cafe and farm shop and I also volunteered in a pre-school for a year which I enjoyed so much and miss loads! I also spent a few months in Madrid as an au pair and had the most amazing time; I love travelling and learning about different cultures and experiencing life with a new perspective. There is so much to learn from others and I believe travel is one of the best ways of doing this. I find exploring new places so fulfilling and life affirming and brings me so much happiness; it would be great to meet new people and make memories together!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm Alessandra, half English and half Italian- I have grown up speaking both languages at home (UK) and have just moved to Italy. Spending time visiting family and friends in various countries while growing up has sparked my love of travel and experiencing different cultures and meeting new people.

I volunteered in a pre-school for year alongside working in a cafe/shop; watching how children learn from their surroundings and each other was so amazing to see and I would love to continue experiencing this by staying with a family and providing childcare help.

At A-Level I studied psychology, English language, Spanish and Italian, and am hoping to begin studying at university in Italy from September '24. Languages are something I've always been interested in and love picking up new words here and there and believe that being exposed to them on a daily basis through travel is one of the best ways to learn! I'm excited for the experiences and memories I'll make through Workaway and look forward to continuing my travel journey :)
