Description

Hi there, my name is Alessandro.🐳 I'm new on Workaway and I'm really excited to start this new adventure. I have always dreamed of being able to travel in a sustainable way and be able to lend a hand to the people who welcome me.🌍

I am a 28 year old and I come from Sicily, a beautiful island in South Italy and my nomadic spirit has led me over the years to travel and live in many cities.🎒

I love traveling, learning about new cultures, learning new languages, sharing moments, food or activities and I always try to bring my energy wherever I go.

In the past I worked as an archaeologist, I really like investigating the history of the countries I visit and learning from those who live there.🏝️
I also worked as a teacher, so I have good experience in teaching and creating bonds with kids.🏡​

I read a lot and I really like talking about history, art, travel and nature. I am a very curious person and I like to always try something new.📚
I also have a creative side: I write about travel and about the sensations I feel when visiting new places or meeting new people.🌋

I really like living in contact with nature and animals and when I can I love hiking or long walks. I like working outdoors and in any weather condition.🧗🏻‍♂️

I know English and Spanish and if you want I can teach you Italian.🇪🇦​🇬🇧

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a master's degree in humanities and a specialization in Archaeology. I have worked as a teacher and have a good experience to teach children and teenagers.

I know English and Spanish at an intermediate level and a little Portuguese and I can gladly teach Italian.

I also have experience working in the fields, gardening and harvesting. I like working outdoors. Being in contact with plants and animals makes me feel good.

I also have experience in assisting people with disabilities and vulnerable people, gained through years of volunteering.
Sometimes I have also done small renovation and construction jobs.

I am willing to learn everything and will always try to do my best.

I love the sea and marine life. When I can I love whale watching. I am a big fan of cetaceans and I know a lot about them.

Indoor climbing and rollerblading are two of my other big hobbies.

I like to take pictures with my camera and create video reels about the places I visit. I have some skills in content creation.

I believe that every place has a story to tell and one day I would like to write a book about the places I have seen and tell them through the emotions they have aroused in me.
